Thurston Avenue Bridge Closed Starting March 12, 2007

Economy Paving has informed Cornell that Thurston Bridge will close to all vehicle and pedestrian traffic at 7 AM, March 12 until the students return in August to complete the bridge renovation project.

All pedestrians will be detoured to the Beebe Lake footbridge, as was done last year, and all vehicles will be detoured to the Stewart Avenue Bridge. Forest Home Drive will also close to all traffic except emergency vehicles and deliveries, University Avenue will be east bound only past Rand Hall, and East Avenue will be southbound only, north of Clark Hall drive.
