We support the Technical Resource Group (TRG), which provides information, training and guidance for departmental/divisional technology support providers. This also provides a chance to network with other technology support providers from across the unit.

We can assist departments and divisions with:

  • Departmental/Divisional desktop Support training and guidance
  • Unit standards
  • Software evaluation, acquisition, and upgrades
  • Software support (departmental and divisional)
  • Cross-departmental support coverage
  • Problem escalation
  • Hardware and Software "How-To" guides development
  • We have available for borrowing computers and related equipment, audio and visual equipment, documentation, and software. Contact us for more information.
  • We represent the unit for Corporate Time and for the Calendaring implementation team. We can assist with configuration, client training, and Palm support issues.
  • We provide and/or support the following servers:
    • CUFA Divisional Web Site at http://www.aff.cornell.edu
    • FTP Server for controlled access to specific applications
    • KeyServer for controlled access to specific applications
    • Fax Server: Troubleshooting and account setup
    • Dialup Services including client configuration & troubleshooting as well as account management
